The Safe Haven Program exists to provide safety and promote the healing of children and adult victims in a secure, child and family-friendly venue by fostering the healthy interactions of families impacted by divorce and/or domestic violence. The Safe Haven Program:

  • Provides assistance with the safe exchange of children from custodial to non-custodial parents
  • Maintains a child-friendly and home-like environment to facilitate supervised visitations
  • Ensures the physical and emotional safety of children while fostering healthy interactions between children and non-custodial parents
  • Intervenes immediately and assertively to prevent parents from subjecting their children to toxic or emotionally or physically aggressive treatment that are a result of divorce, custody disputes, or parents’ inappropriate parenting practices
  • Supports and mentors parents to develop safe, positive, and nurturing connections with their children.

Referrals to community services, curriculum-based education, and service learning activities.
