A S.A.S.I. Advocate is on 24 hour on call and will response when called to the appropriate hospital to provide crisis intervention to a sexual assault victim or child victim’s family.  A survival package will be given to the adult victim.  The advocate will assist in filling out a Crime Victims Compensation Application.  Referral Services will be provided to the victim.  Advocates may also participate by conducting preventive education presentations throughout our community.

• The individual must be at least 18 yrs. old

• Criminal Background Check
• Provide References
• Volunteer Interview

An Advocate must complete a 25 hour mandatory training before responding to the hospital.
