Description:
The South Texas Prevention Navigation Program seeks to prevent and reduce the onset of substance abuse as well as the prevention of the transmission of HIV and viral hepatitis infection among adolescent and young adult Hispanic males and females between 13 to 24 years of age in Webb, Zapata, and Starr Counties. Participants in the program will receive evidenced-based prevention services provided by SCAN staff members assigned to the program.

Services/Activities:
Screening, Case Management, Problem Identification and Referrals, Prevention Counseling, Curriculum-Based Education, and Rapid HIV and Hepatitis C Testing.
