The Webb County Community Coalition (WCCC) seeks to organize, educate, and implement activities that empower citizens to take action to prevent substance use and abuse among community youth and adults by strengthening collaboration and supporting the local drug prevention, intervention, and treatment infrastructure. Individuals from all sectors of the community are invited to participate as members. The WCCC schedules formal meetings on a monthly basis for members to network and develop and implement strategies to address local substance-related problems and issues.
The WCCC concentrates its efforts on enhancing community collaboration to prevent substance use and abuse through meetings, media awareness activities, and the implementation of environmental and social change policies.
