The Corazon Street Outreach Program (SOP) provides street outreach services that include education and prevention services to runaway, homeless, and street (RHS) youth 21 years of age and younger who have been subjected to or are at risk of sexual exploitation or abuse. Runaway, homeless, and street (RHS) youth can self-refer for program participation. Also, any person in the community can refer youth who are in need of street outreach services. Common referral sources include law enforcement, juvenile justice programs, schools, counselors, friends, family, or neighbors. Once a youth is referred, a staff member will make contact with the individual to provide a variety of services as needed and/or requested.
